Bingelela Bed & Breakfast lies on a farm, just outside of Bergville(Northern Drakensberg) on the R74. Ideally situated for those, en-route to or from Johannesburg, Durban &  even Bloemfontein… a perfect stopover for business travellers and holiday guests alike, with easy access to the Northern- and Central Drakensberg.
We are a very popular weekend getaway for those who need to escape from the hustle & bustle of city life – only 2.5 hours from Durban and a 3 hour drive from Jozi – the peace and quiet will leave you refreshed & recharged….

Our A’la Carte restaurant and pub is open seven days a week and have an excellent reputation for our superb food, friendly service and great atmosphere! Our daily black board specialities will leave a lasting impression!

During summer months, our guests enjoy the al fresco setting, overlooking our swimming pool from the sundeck, thatched lounge, restaurant or bar.

We go cozy in winter with blazing log fires, creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, usually accompanied with a good bottle of red.

Accommodation:

10 free standing cottages have been described as cozy, quaint and very comfortable. Cottages are en-suite and one is fitted with a spa bath for that extra comfort. Handsomely decorated, they are all equipped with Televisions, Tea/Coffee Facilities, Bar Fridges and some with fireplaces.

Couples, families & Corporate Travellers are all welcome!

Joss & Paula Joubert started Bingelela 8 years ago and nurtured a small 12 seater restaurant into what it is today…a friendly accommodation / restaurant venue where guests are treated like old friends. Great food and service is maintained due to their active involvement and management on a daily basis.
